the two label mates have partnered to new single "Hit The Lights by Jay Sean," which is slated to be published online February 8.
The single is taken from forthcoming album of cash by Jay Sean freeze time, which is scheduled to land in stores in June and will feature appearances from Drake, Pitbull, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and others.
In related news, Lil Wayne is in the final stages of recording his anticipated eighth full-length studio album, the IV Carter, which will feature the production by Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and others.
According to President Mack Maine's Young Money, he was in the studio 24 hours a day with Lil Wayne, as the label is preparing to drop Tha Carter IV.
"I was in studio the whole night workin' on this IV Carter," Mack Maine said XXL Magazine. "We had David Banner coming tonight, so hopefully he'll come up with something. We try to make sure — he makes kind of each album. Did Tha Carter III and you did [we are young money]. "
No publication date is available for Tha Carter IV at the time of printing.
