Amar'e Stoudemire & Fabolous Celebrate Their Birthdays

This week, Rémy Martin toasted Amar'e Stoudemire and Fabolous for their birthday celebration at CATCH, EMM Group's newly opened seafood restaurant in New York City. After a seated dinner on the second floor, which included Amar'e and Fabolous' closest friends, the party moved upstairs to CATCH Roof, set to the theme of Boardwalk Empire. The gentlemanly affair, complete with flapper greeters, card tables, and cigar rollers, also saw Adrienne Bailon, Jessica White, Trey Songz, Will Allen, Rocsi Diaz and EMM Group owners Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum, joining in the festivities. Towards the end of the night, the birthday pair was presented with a three-tier New York City-inspired cake crafted by CATCH's own pastry chef Thiago Silva, while guests toasted the duo and continued to celebrate while dancing along to the sounds of DJ M.O.S. Shortly after the cake presentation, Amar'e and Fabolous each received a decanter of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, appropriately known as the King of Cognac! Each decanter retails for over $2,000.

T.I. Previews New Album x Single For Billboard

T.I. finally confirms the title of his next album, “Trouble Man,” after debating between two titles. Billboard got the exclusive sneak peak with T.I. as he previewed some of his work and prepares for his eighth studio release. The title track features a sample from Marvin Gaye’s "Trouble Man," which Tip drew inspiration. As told to Billboard, the album is taking T.I. out of his element.


“This is the first project where I’m talking about things that I’ve experienced before that I’m not necessarily experiencing now cause I’m not doing a whole lot of partying. I do a little bit but not a lot… nothing like when I was in that life.”

Mac Miller's triumph of having Blue Slide Park being the first indie distributed #1 album in 16 years is garnering him even more media coverage than usually, with the young Pittsburgh emcee landing the front cover of the New York Times art section yesterday. Someone went digging in the crates and unearthed the demo version of Meth and Mary's classic hit, "All I Need." While the gist remains the same as the song we all now know from Method Man's 1994 LP, Tical, the preliminary version of the track is significantly different. The demo features two hood chicks talking smack about men before and after Meth's bars, sans MJB vocals. Have a listen to see where the staple song evolved from.
