Military Promises To Ban Soulja Boy Albums From Stores

Recently, ATL rapper Soulja Boy spit some bars about they Army on his song "Let's Be Real" that were none-to flattering to the men and women in uniform. While Soulja Boy has since rescinded his rhyme which stated "F**k the FBI and the Army troops.." the U.S. Military is not backing off and has announced their intention of removing all Soulja Boy albums from Army and Air Force exchange service stores. 


According to LTC Thomas Shrade, the lyrics are deemed unacceptable but there remains the possibility of the ban being lifted if the song featuring these defamatory raps does not appear on an album. A rep for Soulja Boy's camp, Debby Coda,has openly stated that said track will not appear on any project (including the forthcoming album Respect My Hustle) and are hastily attempting to get the song off the Internets. As an additional plea for forgiveness the rapper has also offered to give free performances to the troops and arrange for several meet-and-greets. 


The apology and these free concerts are all a great gesture but perhaps they should have Soulja Boy experience life as a real soldier for a week or so. If you crank that obstacle course at the crack of dawn followed by a 10 mile run, that's an apology.

Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group took to Twitter earlier today to throw a pair of jabs that are surely aimed at Young Jeezy. With Jeezy's new album, Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition set to drop on September 20th, MMG played on rumors that the album will infact be pushed back from the solidified date that was announced almost 2 months ago at Jeezy's Highline Ballroom concert in NYC. Although the tweets never specifically mention Young Jeezy, the use of the words "No Motivation" and the fact that there has been a much talked about beef between the two key pushing rappers gives away who the intended target of the above shots is. The shots were also retweeted by Rick Ross himself.


Young Jeezy's DJ has publicly stated that the September 20th release date for TM103 still stands. We'll just have to wait and see if the Snowman returns fire.

Rising streetwear brands, Deadline LTD and Blvck Scvle, have been working on a collaborative tee behind the scenes for a months now ... and it's release date is finally nearing. The new tee release boasts a metallic "V" from the Blvck Scvle name, and an Olde English style script that says Deadline. So far, we've only spotted two colorways from the collabo, a black/red tee, and white/black, seen in the photos above. However, further details regarding the collabo are currently unknown.
