In July, Putsch Racing Designs' Casey Putsch unveiled what is purported to be the world's first jet turbine-powered Batmobile. Now, he has put the car up for sale on eBay to pay some bills. However, you'll have to fork over a bunch of cash to purchase it. It's likely you'd have to be a billionaire actually, because the Batmobile replica is selling for $620,000. It boasts a 365 horsepower Boeing turboshaft engine, an iPod-compatible sound system (with a dash mounted iPad which functions as an avionics system and GPS navigator), an air horn, and runs on jet, kerosene and/or diesel fuel...

A Tribe Called Quest Documentary Coming To DVD

According to RapFix, the ATCQ doucmentary Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest directed by Michael Rappaport is slated to be released on DVD. The film was surrounded by much controversy leading up to its theatrical debut earlier this year due to a dispute between some of the tribe and Rappaport. Since then the group has encouraged all to see the film despite any discrepencies some of the members may have with its content. Appearance are made in Beats Rhymes & Life by many artists including Pharrell, Pete Rock, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers and Common. The film is set to drop on DVD October 18th, 2011.
