Premium Pete's Pick: Mighty Crown Dunk High x Nike Sky Force 88 Low


Much respect to Mighty Crown, the legendary Japanese reggae band for teaming up with NIKE to release the Sky Force 88 Low.



This quickstrike collaborative project is celebrating Mighty Crown’s 20th Anniversary in the worldwide dancehall scene. In addition to the Sky Force 88 Low’s, a pair of Nike Dunk High's will release at the same time highlighting their milestone. 



These Dunk Highs are made with a variety of premium materials, they also feature a red Nike tongue label along with gold crown lace locks. Look closely, and you’ll notice the sneakers are a study in texture. Variations in material applications between the individual left and right sneaker.



This anniversary pack uniquely stands out, yet complements the silhouettes of each design and chosen materials. The Sky Force 88 Low’s sports a light grey colorway with a solid 3M strip wrapping around the toe box. In flash lighting you can notice the 3M faux croc skin patterned upper, accented by snake print midsoles, swoosh, and heel tabs.



The insoles colorfully display a collage of trophies. The silver Mighty Crown lace locks definitely adds a stylistic touch to the neckbreaking look.

On Friday (October 7), it was revealed that long-running majors such as Jive Records, Arista Records and J Records will close up shop -- and each will fold into RCA Records.
