David Guetta and Rihanna's video "Day" for "who's that Chick?" (there will be a version of "Night" too) he fell this week, and it, deals with fans to Guetta flexing some muscles in space and RiRi retozando in a world with almost all colors of the spectrum.
Initially, a video of "who is this Chick?" leaked online last year was cut Jonas Åkerlund by director music video with a Doritos commercial project in mind. The song was produced by Guetta, never arrived in strong Rihanna's album, but the French dance music star made the track his own and, with some shoot additions, not one, but two videos will see the light of day.
The video begins with Guetta coming out of a cryogenic container aboard a ship somewhere in deep space, and Rihanna and her friends are on monitors throughout the ship. It is a human being or an alien on another planet? It is difficult to say. But most of video works out between these two sets: Guetta aboard his ship and Rihanna in Candyland, wherever that is.
The clip shows Guetta mix songs and get even his gym in with some chin-ups and kickboxing, but clearly their thoughts are with Rihanna.
RiRi is pure fantasy Åkerlund, comics with palettes of colors and set pieces reminiscent of the "phone Lady Gaga" video. Rihanna and her friends are dressed with hyper-colour matching attire and are wrapped in his dance party. The video ends with the DG throw the spaceship in the "deformation speed", presumably to meet this girl who can no longer live without.
The video has an atmosphere of "star trek", and Guetta scenes were filmed in a study of "trek" former.
"I am like a spaceship, DJ" Guetta recently told MTV News. "Really really curious, because we have that shot in Los Angeles in a place where the used to shoot 'star trek', but as the old ones." And, what is the kind of retro to futuristic, you know? It's like how people were seeing the future back in the 1980s. "He has a sense of humor in the video."
